Corners
We help leaders and teams see what's visible but missed, and act on it before others do.
For twenty years, we've worked with some of the world's most recognized organizations on strategy, transformation, and leadership in rapidly shifting markets. Our practice is built on a simple conviction: the best competitive advantages aren't hidden. They're hidden in plain sight—overlooked because they don't match our assumptions about how markets work, or what our customers want, or what we're capable of.
As AI commoditizes intelligence, this principle becomes more critical, not less. When information is abundant and evenly distributed, the sources of real competitive advantage shift to what remains genuinely scarce: judgment, discernment, original questions, and the willingness to act on an insight before it's obvious to everyone else.
We approach this through three interconnected practices:
Consulting
We partner with leadership teams to design strategy and organizational transformation in the AI era—from identifying unmet market needs to building the judgment and governance structures required to compete on what remains scarce. Our methodology is grounded in twenty years of ethnographic research, observational strategy work, and the practical frameworks that have shaped breakthrough value propositions across industries.
Teaching
We teach executive education globally—at INSEAD, the London School of Economics, the University of Johannesburg, and CEDEP—bringing the same observational rigor to the classroom. Our curriculum spans strategy, organizational design, and leadership in contexts of rapid technology change. We also serve as Senior Global Consultant for the Blue Ocean Global Network and hold advisory roles in strategy and innovation at leading business schools.
Insights & Writing
We publish frameworks and essays on leadership, strategy, and competitive advantage in the age of AI. Intelligence as a Commodity: Harnessing Human Judgment as a Competitive Advantage (Wiley, co-authored with Rajeev Kapur) provides C-suite executives with a structured operating system for AI-driven transformation—moving organizations from reactive adoption to proactive, sustainable competitive positioning. Our quarterly essays explore observation, strategy, and the craft of leadership in visible but overlooked contexts.
How We Work
We operate as a network of strategists, researchers, and educators—connecting the right expertise by geography, domain knowledge, and the specific challenge at hand, rather than through traditional hierarchy. This allows us to bring specialized knowledge to bear on your particular context while maintaining the observational rigor that defines our practice.
